Comet Tool leads the industry with our own in-house metrology laboratory, fully computerized and climate controlled. Our lab utilizes RAM Optical video base measuring and inspection systems, numberex coordinating measuring systems and computerized optical comparators. These state-of-the-art systems certify all tooling dimensions and insure repeatability in our molds.

The use of SPC quality control methods & design experiments allows Comet to prevent defects prior to molding. Variations during the production cycle are also eliminated through source inspections and the use of our Avalon Vision System. This focus on statistical methods has enabled us to become a superior manufacturer of molds and plastic molded components. SPC and metrology reports are available upon customer request.
